I’m the Mile High Photographer, and my journey behind the lens has been shaped by a lifetime of adventure, service, and a deep appreciation for the beauty in every moment. I grew up in the suburbs of San Diego and spent 20 years serving in the U.S. Air Force, an experience that allowed me to see the world from a unique perspective. Over the years, I’ve traveled to 26 countries, explored 49 of our 50 states, and visited more than two-thirds of America’s national parks, along with many across Canada.

My greatest passion is traveling and capturing the incredible landscapes and wildlife I encounter along the way. Those moments in nature continue to inspire my work and influence how I approach every photo session—whether I’m outdoors chasing golden light or in the studio creating timeless portraits.

The name Mile High Photographer was inspired by the 12 years my family and I spent living in the beautiful state of Colorado. After that chapter, we relocated to Rockwall, Texas, where my wife Jenn, our daughter Tristan, and our two dogs, Tosca and Blue, now call home.

My photography reflects that same sense of exploration and genuine connection—whether I’m capturing portraits, family milestones, or athletic achievements. Every session is an opportunity to tell a story, and I’m honored each time I get to help my clients preserve theirs.
